i know what you mean. However, I don't believe they're random per se - in fact, most of the melodies are the same pattern, just in a different octave or with just a few changes in the notes. but, i can see where you could say it's too epic. well, maybe it's not PURE DnB. Actually, it's probably more on the order of "progressive" DnB, since no 2 parts are the same, really, and it moves quite quickly - it's actually supposed to feel more like a metal song than a DnB song, similar to guys like August Burns Red and Protest the Hero in form =P. In my vision, that's part of the artistry of it. That was my way of trying to interest both types of listening groups: The long-term and short-term. And now I thank you, because I just realized, I now have to appeal to an audience that comprises of many amateur listeners with a few seasoned listeners. How do I appeal to both? Make both types of songs at different intervals, I suppose. But anyway, thank you for bringing that to my attention. =)

This.... isn't a midi. This is an 8 bit version of a song from Megaman Zero 3.

Furthermore, if you're trying to say a midi was used, then I have to tell you that you are not supposed to rate based on how you suspect a song is made. That's just not fair to the reviewer because that's more about your' morals not the song.

I mean y'know, I don't go out and listen to a vocal, (And I don't personally like many vocals at all, because I'm weird.) and then rate it low. It's the same basic idea of it you personally having something wrong with it but not something with the song itself.

I made an attempted remastered version of this song. Though something about it bothers me. (I get the idea that it's the guitar.) Maybe you'd be more interested in that.

The beat was sick..

But the melody looped at points that it shouldnt and it kinda ruined the song.

The idea was great, but putting it into action just didnt come out good enough

but i will still 5 it because the effort put into this was worth it.

I really wasnt a big fan of the main melody synth i used honestly. That may have been the cause of what you didnt like. I may re-upload a better version some day.
